Clinic Director

Ben has been with Apple Therapy since 2002. His areas of clinical and research interest are post-surgical rehabilitation, running injuries, running gait analysis, and work conditioning. Ben is one of the most experienced dry needlers in the state. He has worked closely with the best doctors for nearly 20 years – taking on thousands of patients through post-surgical rehabilitation to help them get back to being themselves.

When asked what sparked his interest in pursuing this career, he answered, “I put myself through undergraduate as a personal trainer. During that time, I was introduced to the 88-year old father of a client of mine. He had been falling more frequently, and seeing his remarkable functional improvements in this man after a few months of strength training set me on my path. I went on to write my Master’s thesis on the benefits of high intensity strength training in the elderly.”

Outside of work, Ben can be found spending time with his wife and two teenage kids. He likes to exercise and recreate outside with hiking, biking, running, camping, golfing and skiing. Ben has run a marathon in 15 different states with a long-term goal of all 50!
