Alexandra (Ally) and Nikko
Treated at Apple Therapy Londonderry
Happy February, everyone!
It’s been a snowy month so far, and we hope everyone is staying safe and warm. I’m Anthony, one of the physical therapists at Apple Therapy in Londonderry and Bedford. A year ago this month, I had the honor of recognizing one of our outstanding patients as ‘Patient of the Month.’ Now it’s time to brush off the rust, start writing again and introduce this February’s newest member(s) of the club.
Choosing just one patient to highlight is always a tough decision, especially when we’ve seen so many individuals dedicate so much to their rehabilitation over the past year. This month, however, we’re making an exception. For the first time in a while, we’re calling it a draw—and there’s some friendly competition involved (though one may claim to be the faster of the two). Without further ado, please join me in celebrating our ‘Patients of the Month,’ Alexandra (Ally) Feingold and Nikko Tremblay.
While I could simply offer my congratulations and call it a day, I’d like to take a moment to share more about their remarkable journeys.
Nikko was the first to join us a few years ago in Londonderry and returned this past May after a sports-related Achilles injury. Not long after, Ally followed suit, coming in after a torn ACL, also sustained through sports. Their paths crossed long before their rehabilitation journeys began, however—they’ve been teammates on a local club flag football team for quite some time. From the moment they started their rehab together, it was clear they had a special bond. You could see their chemistry as both teammates and friends, constantly pushing, motivating, and supporting each other through every challenge.
Working with Ally and Nikko has been an absolute pleasure. They’ve not only taught us a lot throughout their rehabilitation, but they’ve also made 2024 a year to remember here at Apple Therapy.
As Ally and Nikko continue to work hard toward rejoining their flag football team, we want to wish them all the best. We are beyond excited to see them back on the field, and we have no doubt they’ll be back stronger than ever!
