Congratulations to our Patient of the Month, Jennifer!
Jennifer is now four months post-operative following rotator cuff surgery and has worked incredibly hard throughout her rehabilitation journey. Around the three-month mark, she experienced a plateau in her progress, but after a follow-up appointment with her surgeon, Dr. Fortney at New Hampshire Orthopedic Center, an injection helped provide the breakthrough she needed. Within a few days, she noticed significant improvement, allowing her range of motion to increase to nearly full and giving her the opportunity to focus more on strengthening exercises.
At her most recent follow-up, Dr. Fortney was very pleased with her progress and officially cleared her to return to golf—one of Jennifer’s primary goals. Next on her list is getting back on the tennis court. We are all thrilled with the gains she has made over the past month and look forward to seeing what she accomplishes next.
