Quick & Easy Stove-Top Banana Oatmeal


  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup water or milk of choice
  • 1 large overripe banana, mashed
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • Toppings: Add your favorites or enjoy plain


  1. Mix oats, water or milk of choice and mashed banana in a small to medium saucepan.
  2. Add cinnamon, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Heat over medium-low to medium heat for 5-10 minutes until at desired consistency, stirring occasionally
  4. Divide into 2-4 serving bowls and add your favorite toppings.
  5. Enjoy!
